The Student Weekender 12-15 March 2015 highlights art, music, science and culture on Manchester’s student corridor (Oxford Road) through events, exhibitions, talks and performances, launching with our headlining event on Thursday 12 March, that encompasses all of these, the Student Social Art Party at the Whitworth!
The Oxford Road corridor is home to some of Manchester’s most iconic and forward-thinking cultural destinations. Manchester has artistic, architectural, academic, musical, scientific, theatrical and creative breadth, including the Whitworth, Manchester Museum, Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM), University of Manchester, Central Library, Contact,?Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU), Holden Gallery, Cornerhouse and soon to be opened, HOME. All of these venues are minutes from campus and programme exhibitions, events, festivals, performances all year round and the Student Weekender highlights the breadth and diversity of these over one weekend!
