This activity particularly targets students studying GCSE/A-Levels in Social Science subjects and/or Core Maths.

Schools will sign up in September to participate in the Manchester Schools Survey. Participating schools will be supported in the production and distribution of a short survey on pupil attitudes to specific issues relating to their locality. Each school will have a survey team and this team will present its findings at the event on the 11 Nov. Survey teams will receive training and support from Q-Step Centre staff and students. There will be prizes for the best examples of data collection and analysis. Information on registration will be publicised via the Q-Step website and schools network.
