Droplets have been used in technological applications for many years and are of increasing importance in new applications such as droplet microfluidics, inkjet manufacturing and 3D-printing.
But drops don’t always behave the way we expect them to. This talk will give three examples of drops behaving badly and explore the physics and chemistry that underlie their unexpected behaviour.
